Gro Profit First Accountants was founded by Stephen Edwards, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) with over 25 years' experience in accountancy. Stephen is the UK's leading Profit First Certified Accountant, was named Profit First Accountant of the Year, and trained directly under the system's creator Mike Michalowicz.

Stephen's mission is simple: to help every business owner understand their numbers and keep more of what they earn. He hosts the Profit First Podcast, speaks at events across the UK, and has personally helped over 100 businesses implement the Profit First cash management system. His approach combines deep technical expertise with plain-English communication — because understanding your finances shouldn't require an accounting degree.
Our Team
The Gro team includes qualified accountants, bookkeepers, payroll specialists, and client managers — all trained in the Profit First methodology. Every client gets a dedicated team member who knows their business inside out. We're big enough to handle complex accounting, but small enough that you'll always speak to someone who knows your name.
